After graduating from uni with a Bachelors degree I soon became jaded with corporate culture, banked some dollars and hit the road (after taking a flight). I traveled the globe on a very long adventure that exposed me to a treasure trove of new experiences. In truth the adventure hasn’t really stopped, just slowed down a little.
During the past few years I’ve worked as the deputy editor of Citylife magazine, lectured at Chiang Mai University, tutored international school students, given guitar lessons and held creative writing workshops. I also write for Elephant Nature Park, a refuge for abused elephants and wrote the accompanying text for the illustrated book, Elephants Living in Sanctuary, now in its second print.
Since living in SE Asia I have developed a real passion for Asian art, antiques and textiles and opened a gallery- sabai designs gallery -which showcases the arts and crafts of the East. There you’ll find a Photo Gallery of places and people my partner and I have visited over the past 10 years.
My other passions are playing guitar, writing, travel, Eastern philosophy, photography and animals, especially cats. I’m all for a more peaceful world too. If we could all just relax a bit more about everything….
